For each of the past 9 years Thanksgiving has been a time to thank you for your support and for being our best marketers. Patients only come to physical therapy when they are injured -
all the advertising and free pens doesn’t guarantee they will remember us when that time comes.
But referrals from friends and family are pretty influential at that point
and that is how nearly all of you end up meeting us.
The timely recommendation that we are worth the out of pocket cost is critical for us and very much appreciated.
Thank you!
It is also the time of year when many businesses make annual donations and matching gifts to charity.
We hope by promoting our “pay it forward” choice that it might garner additional financial attention as well.
You can read more about this history and past donations here.
We are proud to say this years donation will go to...
hello neighbor
Founded in 2017 with 25 refugee families and 25 local host families the organization has grown to host over 4,000 individuals from over 65 countries of origin.
The simple concept that sharing a meal can be transformational is not lost on those of us
who grew up at the kids table on holidays.
To be a stranger in a strange land, one that since 2016 has actively appeared to deny its own immigrant origin,
must be a very scary daily experience.
So to be welcomed to share a meal requires a leap of faith
but eventually develops trust and eases anxiety.
Additionally, since 2020 The Study Buddy program at hello neighbor has helped 165 immigrant students navigate
the US educational system during some of the toughest years for any kid - grades 6-12.
More than ever before human connectivity must policy - not discrimination and detention.
hello neighbor believes in authentic care and concern for others, especially our newest neighbors.
Perhaps you might consider a donation as well.
